Safeguard: New Dryzone Loft Cube PIV Kit makes compliance a breeze

  • 11 Jun 2025

Safeguard Europe has launched the Dryzone Loft Cube Positive Input Ventilation Kit, a cost-conscious ventilation solution that is suitable for a wide range of social housing with reliably high performance.

Hudson Lambert, Managing Director of Safeguard Europe, commented on the launch of this new product: “In October 2025, Awaab’s Law comes into force, setting strict standards for the inspection and remediation of damp and mould problems in social housing.

“The need for this law underlines the importance of quick-to-install ventilation options that can be fitted in a wide variety of properties with reliably high performance.

“Landlords are also keen on ventilation systems that are unobtrusive, run automatically and near-silently. Some homes desperately require additional ventilation, but just aren’t suitable for costly renovations that involve serious structural changes.”

The Dryzone Loft Cube Positive Input Ventilation Kit fulfils all these requirements in a functional and tidy form factor and is available now from safeguardeurope.com. It comes complete with everything you need to install straight out of the box.

Positive Input Ventilation

Positive Input Ventilation is a great way to balance humidity, introduce a regular supply of fresh air into a property and resolve condensation and mould issues caused by a lack of ventilation. It works by diverting fresh air from the loft space into living areas, which dilutes the existing stale air by displacing it.

This has a positive effect on removing pollutants and allergens from the air, thanks to the ISO Coarse 65% filter that catches dust and pollen. Worried about heat retention in winter? The integral heater automatically tempers incoming air at under 10 ºC for resident comfort. It runs almost silently from the loft – reaching around 25 dB(A) from a metre’s distance at its loudest. For comparison, the volume of an average whisper is around 30 dB(A).

This unit is suitable for 1 to 5 bedroom homes, meaning you only need to carry one model on the van. With four speed settings, it’s easy to tailor the system to your clients’ ventilation needs.

To install, the Dryzone Loft Cube PIV Kit requires just a single hole to be cut into the ceiling of a suitable hallway. From there, simply affix the diffuser in place, attach the duct and secure. Wire the unit to the mains, cycle through the speed settings with a single button and everything will all be set up, just in time for lunch. The diffuser outlet and spigot encloses the hole fully, requiring no additional work to make good.
