Screwfix has launched the summer edition of its catalogue, detailing an extensive range of branded and ‘Trade Rated’ products for skilled manual workers.
Targeted at tradespeople and DIYers, Screwfix’s summer catalogue features thousands of products from a variety of renowned brands, such as DeWalt, Stanley and Titan.
The catalogue can be picked up for free at one of Screwfix’s 520 stores across the UK. All products ordered via the publication are available for next day delivery; alternatively, the company offers a Click and Collect service, which allows customers to pick up their products in store.
The catalogue features the Makita 18V 3.0AH LI-ION LXT Brushless Cordless Combi Drill. The drill features a brushless motor, all-metal gearing, reduced friction and heat build-up for enhanced durability and power. Its 16 torque settings, drill and hammer drill makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The power tool is accompanied with a 2-speed gearbox, variable speed trigger and a single-sleeve keyless chuck feature which allows users to easily replace accessories. It is supplied with a belt clip, carry case, charger and 2 3Ah batteries.
The Turbo-Ultra Woodscrews trade pack, which includes 1,000 pro-drive multi-purpose screws, compatible with screwdrivers, combi drills and impact drivers, is also detailed. Manufactured with corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel, the single thread screws are suitable for external, plumbing and fresh water applications.
The catalogue also offers products for on-the-go projects, such as the Stanley Fatmax Hard Base tool bag. Created with heavy duty 600 denier fabric, leather reinforcements and a waterproof plastic base, this tool bag is resistant to normal wear and tear damage. It boasts six external pockets, five internal pockets and four tool loops.
Titan features throughout the catalogue, with its 4 1/2 inch Angle Grinder and Petrol Landscaping Multi-Tool. Whilst the latter has been designed for line cutting, brush cutting, hedge cutting and pruning, the Angle Grinder offers tile cutting, metal cutting and mortar raking.
It has a 750W and 230-240V power output, a tool-free adjustable guard, and comes with a metal cutting disc and a carry case.
Tradespeople can also order the new DeWalt multi-pocket shorts, which feature Cordura-reinforced pockets and double-seamed stitches. They have been designed with Ripstop fabric to minimise damage and include holster, combat, rear and front pockets. The shorts also feature seven belt loops, YKK zip fly and a hammer strap.
In terms of interior products, the catalogue offers information on the Ximax Oceanus Universal Designer Radiator range. The flat panel radiators, which have been designed for use with hot water central heating systems, can be hung vertically or horizontally, supplied with plug, vent and wall fixings for easier installation.
These radiators deliver an impressive heating performance, meeting the EN442 European Standard with a heat output from 310 watts.
The catalogue also features the chrome Watersmith Heritage Clyde Basin Mono Mixer Tap, a brass tap suitable for both high and low pressure water systems, and the LAP 13A 2G SP Switched Socket + 3.1A 2G USB Charger.
This multi-purpose switched socket has been designed to emphasise power performance and convenience. LAP USB Sockets can be retrofitted to a standard 25mm back box; 3.1A is shared between both ports, using the latest Smart USB Technology to deliver charging to a multitude of devices.
