The owner of a major property development company has chosen Skyline Architectural Aluminium from Alumasc to complement the stunning design of his own private residence.
Stephen Clarke is the director of Dukeries Homes, and when it comes to building houses, he has firm opinions on the specification of quality materials. His own property sits within High Oakham Park, a Dukeries development of twenty-two luxury properties near Nottingham. Stephen’s property differs from the rest of the development in its unusual grey and black exterior, and he was looking for a robust rainwater package that was not only hardwearing and low-maintenance, but that also provided the fitting architectural finish to his unique home.
Having had previous experience of Alumasc and their product range, Stephen knew he wanted their help on his own property, and was keen to use aluminium. The Skyline Architectural range provided the high-end, contemporary aesthetics he was looking for, whilst also giving long-term piece of mind in terms of performance.
For the roofline, Stephen specified Skyline fascias and soffits, and fascia boxends, together with copings for the parapet wall, all supplied in RAL 9005M deep matt black. Alumasc’s technical team worked extensively on the design of the boxends which presented a challenge due to their positioning. Numerous site visits were required to perfect the final design to Stephen’s full satisfaction.
The bespoke dormer window surrounds were also designed by the technical team, to showcase the stunning oversized windows; these were also supplied in RAL 9005M deep matt black.
Skyline offers a complete collection of unparalleled aluminium design solutions to meet every design requirement, including fully bespoke designs such as those at High Oakham Park, which give designers the ultimate freedom to push their creativity to the limit.
To complete the product package, Stephen installed an Alumasc aluminium rainwater system on the property, with a matching system on the detached garage building. Square Flushjoint downpipes were used with GX Box gutters, to match the geometric angles of the property’s exterior façade: the Flushjoint system is based on concealed spigots which give a smooth, clean appearance that complements modern building design. These were also supplied in deep matt black, pulling together the completed look.
Skyline Architectural Aluminium and Aluminium Rainwater are available in a unique range of profiles and finishes. Alumasc’s bespoke design service makes the range suitable for traditional buildings and contemporary projects alike. All products within the Skyline and Rainwater ranges benefit from Alumasc’s BBA approved polyester powder coating process.
All of the aluminium products used at High Oakham Park are 100% recyclable
