Survey Solutions has expanded its operations with the acquisition of East Anglian Land Surveys (EALS), following the retirement of EALS directors Robert Mullins and Jeff Bate.
Survey Solutions specialises in providing detailed positional data for land and buildings. It measures and records features above and below ground to create 3D digital models used by architects, planners, engineers and developers.
The development takes the total headcount at Ipswich-based Survey Solutions to 100 and will combine the resources, capabilities and experience of both firms.
EALS will be gradually integrated into Survey Solutions with surveyors moving over to the company’s Ipswich or Norwich offices.
Survey Solutions Managing Director James Cooper commented: “Every effort has been and will continue to be made to ensure that the service people have come to expect from EALS will be as good – and hopefully even better – now that they are part of Survey Solutions.
There have always been very close links between the two companies not only geographically but also personally, as several of Survey Solutions senior people had previously trained and worked at EALS.”
EALS clients who have not previously used Survey Solutions will now have access to additional services including HD 3D laser scanning; aerial surveys; utility tracing; underground detection and mapping of buried services in addition to CCTV drainage surveys and condition reporting.
