Tinytag Data Logging Technology used in counting systems

  • 27 Feb 2017

Specialist designer and manufacturer of outdoor and indoor people counting and visitor monitoring solutions, Chambers Electronics, have incorporated Tinytag standalone and radio data loggers into their counters for many years.

As a result, they have provided a solution for a range of applications such as weatherproof outdoor people counters, indoor people counters for museums, libraries, sport centres, banks etc, bicycle and car counters for trials, paths and car parks and bespoke counters for specific applications.

Chamber Electronics’ counters have data logging capability which record date/time count information and provide usage count data related to hour, day, month etc. Data can be viewed in Tinytag Explorer software by downloading it to a PC via a USB cable and information from multiple counters can be downloaded into a single file for easy comparison between entrances/sites.

Using Tinytag Radio data loggers, some counters can be fitted as part of a wireless system. In situations where manually downloading information is undesirable, where real-time data is required or needs to be accessed remotely over a LAN, wireless connectivity is recommended.
