Vericon Systems will be exhibiting at HOMES UK 2024 to showcase its full suite of smart, remote technologies for monitoring, managing and controlling essential building services that create greater efficiencies and cost savings for social housing providers.
For proactive boiler monitoring and repair, Vericon will demonstrate its highly intelligent and easy-to-install Boiler Control Module (BCM). BCM, which is capable of operating with all major boiler brands, as well as working with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), monitors boiler health in real time, and can predict and identify common failures such as loss of gas and even a frozen condensate pipe.
It provides landlords with a comprehensive solution to proactively anticipate, address and resolve housing stock issues remotely. To combat low boiler pressure, Vericon’s AutoFill will also be on stand. When the pressure falls below a specific limit, AutoFill automatically initiates the filling procedure, repressurising the system to ensure it remains in optimal condition.
To manage and prevent the harmful effects of damp and mould, Vericon will also be showcasing its Surveyor Cube solution, which is specifically designed to identify the root cause of damp and mould. Surveyor Cube comprises Vericon’s plug and play BCM and MultiDOT temperature and humidity level sensors, which is quick and easy to install in a matter of minutes, without the need for any specialist knowledge or tools.
Also on stand, Vericon will demonstrate its small, yet highly intelligent EmeRed device, which is designable and programmable to perform remote, autonomous light testing. EmeRed automatically carries out the relevant checks to ensure lights within a property are working, compliant with BS 5266 and all other relevant BSI standards and industry legislation.
Throughout the event, Vericon will demonstrate how all of its connected devices can be monitoring and managed via its online dashboard and reporting hub. Vericon will also use the event to preview HomeHub, its sophisticated and user friendly new in-property device that gives residents a central point to manage their home environment, including the ability to remotely control heating and gain real-time visibility of environmental conditions within their property.
Bernard Cook, Managing Director at Vericon Systems, says its portfolio of connected technologies is designed to enhance the experience of property management and resident living: “Our remote technologies are designed with social housing providers and landlords in mind.
“Not only are they all quick and simple to install, they provide real insights and data that enable remote action and interventions, enabling housing providers to operate more effectively and efficiently, reduce costs, stay compliant and continuously improve the lives of tenants.”
HOMES UK is the largest free-to-attend conference and exhibition of its kind, bringing together over 4,500 housing sector professionals to better understand the opportunities of a new government to increase affordable housing supply and improve the quality and sustainability of existing homes.
