Manufactured without joints, Contour’s one piece aluminium coping systems have been developed to resist adverse weather conditions.
The Contour Parapet Wall Coping System is manufactured in one piece. Complete aluminium construction ensures that there are no joint lines for weather to erode over time, whilst decreasing the stress on the substrate beneath. The potential for bi-metal interaction and rusting is also eliminated.
The coping is welded from the inside and finished with a powder coating, which can be applied in any chosen RAL or BS colour. It is available in a range of standard sizes, profiles and shapes; alternatively, Contour’s in-house design and manufacturing team can create bespoke solutions to suit specific requirements.
The wall coping has been independently windspeed tested to 400mph; materials specialist, Ceram, has certified it as a weather-resistant product, which can withstand demanding environments and adverse conditions.
The weather-sealing gasket on Contour’s extruded fixing bracket works to reduce the risk of water ingress into the substrate or render beneath. On all wall coping brackets, neoprene sealing pads remove the opportunity for wind-rattle.
The Contour Parapet Wall Coping System boasts a ‘Clip-on’ design, which allows users to carry out the installation without fixings. Contour also offers a nationwide installation service.
Supplementary technical literature, O&M manuals and fixing instructions can be downloaded from the company’s resource centre.
