The company manufactures windows, doors and kitchen furniture

Based in east London, Newco works alongside contractors, councils, public sector bodies, housing associations and developers to design, manufacture and install PVCu windows, doors and kitchens.

The company helps local disabled and disadvantaged people back into the workplace, offering training and guidance to its employees to build confidence and enhance their skillsets – with 60% of the team having disabilities or health conditions.

Newco has developed relationships with the Department of Work and Pensions, REHAU, Install Direct, STV, Newham Housing, Newham Repairs and Maintenance, Apollo, Mulalley, Wates Group, Balfour Beatty and London and Quadrant.

Founded in 1922 to provide occupational training for ex-soldiers after the First World War, Newco has progressed to become a major contractor supplying and fitting high quality PVCu windows, doors, kitchens and bathrooms.

Newco works in partnership with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to promote the sourcing of sustainable products and services whilst encouraging them to use approved suppliers of materials.

Kitchen and window factory waste is sorted for direct recycling and also through the Licenses Waste Transfer Stations to ensure that more than 90% of surplus is re-used and re-made into new materials.

The worktops supplied by Newco are sourced from companies that process timber from certified sustainably managed forests, whilst kitchen units are recycled ‘Urban Forest’ wood offering an environmentally friendly alternative to other wood products.
