  • 24 Jun 2019

Geberit has has announced the launch of new DuoFresh odour extraction technology, compatible with a greater choice of frames and flush plates.

DuoFresh effectively cleans air by passing unwanted odours through a replaceable carbon filter. The technology is discreetly tucked inside the cistern and can be turned on by the touch of a button by the user.

Toilet odour extraction solutions are proving increasingly popular across all applications and this new technology will provide customers with enhanced design flexibility.

Compatible with all Geberit Sigma frames and a choice of five Sigma flush plates, DuoFresh also comes with a choice of two mounting frames; Chrome and Anthracite. It includes an orientation light, in-cistern hygiene slot and can be adjusted by the Geberit Home app.

Manual or user detection models are available and DuoFresh even enables retrofit installations as the technology can be retrofitted onto all Sigma frames, providing a power supply is available.

Sophie Weston, channel marketing manager at Geberit, comments: “Geberit’s DuoFresh technology represents a new generation of odour extraction solutions, with a greater focus on innovation and sustainability. It removes the need for chemicals, whilst also enhancing wellbeing in bathroom or washroom spaces – particularly important in commercial and high-end residential applications.

“More than that, it gives designers and architects a far greater choice of compatible flush plates to choose from, combining functionality with stylish bathroom design opportunities.”

Geberit’s DuoFresh technology is compatible with all Sigma frames and Sigma01, 10 (excl. infra-red), 20, 30 and 50 flush plates. It replaces both the existing odour extraction frame and Sigma40 flush plates.
