What warranty comes with an LST radiator?

  • 16 Jul 2019

When it comes to quality heating solutions, warranty can help reassure customers that their products are protected. Contour offers a 5-year warranty on its LST radiators, meaning that in the unlikely event of a problem, your heating solution is covered for 5-years to help resolve the issue.

LST radiators from Contour have been designed to be long-lasting, with an expected lifespan of between ten and fifteen years. However, with proper cleaning and maintenance, LST radiators could have a lifespan of as much as twenty years in total, well above the average of fifteen years, according to Heat And Plumb.

Contour LST radiators are made from 1.5mm Zintec mild steel as standard, making them more durable, particularly in busy environments such as primary schools, care homes and hospitals. Contour also offers LST radiators in magnelis, a form of steel which has been treated to make it 10x more resistant to rust and corrosion. This gives the LST radiator a longer potential lifespan in wet environments such as bathrooms, wet rooms and shower facilities.

In schools, hospitals, residential care homes and across the commercial sectors for healthcare and education, there is becoming increasing need to manage budgets and work in more cost-effective ways due to budget cuts, growing class sizes and increased demand on hospitals.

Contour often meets people from these sectors looking for LST radiator solutions that are long-lasting and durable. This gives them the reassurance that their heating solution is protected and durable and therefore won’t require regular costly replacements that could impact their finances in the near future.
