Osmo awarded its fifteenth ethical accreditation

  • 7 Nov 2019

Osmo UK, the eco-friendly wood and finishes expert, has revealed it has been awarded Ethical Accreditation for a fifteenth consecutive year.

The accreditation highlights the company’s commitment to ethical practice and positions Osmo UK as a forward-thinking brand.

In order to receive an Ethical Accreditation, brands need to meet the vigorous standards measured by the Ethical Company Organisation.

As well as this, companies must score highly on The Good Shopping Guide, which is used to inform consumers on the most ethical products available on the market; looking at the impact on the environment, animals and other people across the globe.

Recognised as a leading paint brand, Osmo UK received a score of 100 Ethical Company Index.

The Aylesbury-based company scored highly for environmental report, nuclear power, animal welfare, human rights, armaments, political donations, ethical accreditation, boycott and other criticisms.

As a result of this, Osmo UK can continue to display its Ethical Award and Ethical Company logos, to demonstrate to its customers the brand has verifiable ethical standards.

Steve Grimwood, Managing Director at Osmo UK, commented: “It is an honour to be able to continue to offer our customers products that meet the criteria of the Ethical Company Organisation

“To be able to confidently prove that Osmo UK continues to trade with social responsibility, is very important to us.”
