Locilabs announces SafeSpace wearables that promote social distancing and contact tracing

LociLabs has announced the availability of its SafeSpace wearables, including the SafeSpace Watch and SafeSpace Badge that enable businesses to implement social distancing and contract tracing safely in the workplace.

SafeSpace devices use Ultrawide-band (UWB) radio offering more precision compared to Bluetooth that is accurate with only a 10cm error. 

All devices are IP67 rated meaning it is durable, water resistant and easy to sanitise with a battery that will last a full working day, with an average lifespan of 12 hours. 

SafeSpace includes co-operative mode for people who work in close proximity to each other, with the devices working together seamlessly, while the contact tracing hub allows companies to promote social distancing and to track and trace interactions with unparalleled accuracy.

In addition to this, UK charity Guide Dogs for the Blind, is currently undergoing a trial using the devices to help keep those who are blind and partially sighted safe in these unprecedented times.
