Newton Technical Director Richard Crossley will be delivering Newton’s second monthly RIBA approved CPD webinar of 2021 on Thursday 8th April at 1pm.

Newton Waterproofing Systems’ RIBA approved, double-points CPD seminar on ‘A Designers Guide to Type C Internal Basement Waterproofing to BS 8102:2009’ will focus on the most reliable form of below-ground waterproofing, known as Type C or cavity drain waterproofing.

Richard has over 25 years of experience in the waterproofing industry. His overview of Type C design requirements based on current legislation, British Standards and NHBC standards, will include…

 – An examination of the evolution of Type C internal cavity drain waterproofing
 – An understanding of the importance of the requirement for maintainability within BS 8102:2009
 – An understanding of the related sustainability issues when it comes to Type C waterproofing
 – An appreciation of the importance of using specialist waterproofing designers and contractors
