The latest construction industry opinion survey conducted by UK Construction Week shows that though the Tories are top, a big majority say the needs of the construction industry have been ignored by the key political parties.

We also offer a round-up of General Election promises and how they could affect construction contractors.

But just as construction business start-ups begin to outstrip closures for the first time in 4 years, many now fear that post-Election chaos and compromises will jeopardise this progress.
