Magnetic filter provides protection for central heating systems

  • 3 Aug 2015

The Mag One has been designed to provide heating protection for a multitude of central heating systems, up to 36kW.

The packaging and design of Grant’s Mag One Magnetic Filter has been improved

It utilises a triple action filtration design and a 12000 gauss neodymium magnet to sieve magnetite and non-ferrous debris from the systems.

Operating at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar, the filter also offers a maximum working temperature of 120°C.

It is compatible with all glycol solutions and system inhibitors.

User-friendly filtration

The Mag One has been developed a user-friendly product, with 360° installation and a structure that can be easily cleaned and drained.

An installation and servicing date wheel is supplied with the product, along with a 500ml dosing capacity, manual air bleed and 28mm chrome isolation valves with 22mm reducers.

The Mag One is supplied with spare sealing washers and O-rings. More than one filter can be used in a parallel circuit to allow for effective cleaning in larger central heating systems.
