Retrofit courses supported by Saint-Gobain

  • 24 Feb 2015

CoRE’s retrofit courses have been designed for retrofit practitioners across the UK. Many organisations can benefit from a 50 subsidy to the course fees

As part of the partnership, Saint-Gobain has become a CoRE Founder Sponsor.

It will support the CoRE Fellowship’s work, which aims to bring retrofit practitioners from design, academia and construction together.

With Saint-Gobain’s support, CoRE will be able to extend its activities and develop its Retrofit Coordinator Diploma programme.

The Diploma has been designed to provide construction professionals with the skills and knowledge to refurbish and improve the UK’s existing housing stock.

The course includes modules which focus on whole-house retrofit, technical expertise and training for design and installation.

As these principles are at the centre of Saint-Gobain’s retrofit strategy, the company is happy to offer its support to CoRE’s courses.

CoRE’s retrofit courses will also enable attendees to learn more about the additional training that Saint-Gobain have on offer.

The programmes, which consist of 10 one-day modules, will be available for people to attend at Saint-Gobain’s various Technical Academies.

The company’s Innovation Centre in London and its Greenworks Training Academy in Birmingham will also host the courses.
