Steadmans supplied UrbanExtreme with its roof and wall panels that have been designed as eco-friendly products

UrbanExtreme has been designed to encourage young people to pursue healthy activities at a low cost.

Fitted with a café and the capacity to hold children’s parties, the indoor skate park specifically targets cyclists, skateboarders, in-line skaters and scooter riders.

2,700 square metres of Steadmans’ AS35 insulated panels were specified for the walls and roof of the new build.

The panels were provided in the shades goosewing grey and ocean blue and installed by Cumbria Steel Fabrications.

Steadman’s AS35 panels are certified to ISO 9001:2008 and manufactured using technology that does not affect the ozone layer. They have been designed as an ecological product that has the capacity to last for around 40 years.

The panels are available in a range of thicknesses from 40mm to 137mm. They can be specified to achieve insulation U-values and have been approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board.

In addition to its roof and wall panels, Steadmans also supplied the skate park with 140 metres of AS FAIR rooflights with insulated and standard gutters.
