Steadmans’ Meta-Slate Plus system has been installed as roofing material for Blyth Boathouse Restaurant
The Meta-Slate Plus system consists of Steadmans’ Meta-Slate roofing sheets, which are fixed to its AS35 insulated panels.
Manufactured from 0.7mm galvanised coil, the sheet is printed with a slate pattern, giving it a natural aesthetic.
Despite its appearance, it possess the robustness of steel. It is lightweight whilst able to resist the impact of harsh weather conditions.
Over 140 metres of this roofing material was supplied to the project, along with all purlins and flashings.
The roofing products were fitted by steel fabricator, joiner and builder, JW Colpitts.
The new restaurant is part of the Blyth Boathouse, which contains a boat building workshop and a heritage centre for tourists.
