New glazing frame for pitched roof applications

  • 16 Apr 2015

Brett Martin’s new Marlon Clickfix RL glazing frame has been designed for installation on pitched rooflights and canopies

The new frame can be used to provide a solution for freestanding rooflights, abutment rooflights and in-plane rooflights.

Its suitability for both vertical and pitched applications allows architects to take advantage of different design opportunities.

Clicking into place

The Marlon Clickfix RL glazing frame incorporates an inner base with a separate outer cap.

It has been designed with an integral male/female connection, allowing it to integrate with Brett Martin’s Marlon Clickfix 1040 multiwall polycarbonate glazing panels.

The frame simply clicks into place around the existing panels to create a glazing system with no visible fixings. This also eliminates the need for glazing bars at panel joints.

Design and style

Available with a choice of thermally broken aluminium glazing frame systems, the Clickfix frame can be supplied in a number of different tints and colours.

Whilst offering thermal insulation and UV protection, the frame also provides access to natural light, which can improve the aesthetics of any interior space.
