New aluminium window system launched by Senior

Senior’s new PURe aluminium window system aims to provide low U-values and high thermal performances

When designing PURe, Senior Architectural Systems included a thermal barrier, manufactured from expanded polyurethane foam (PUR).

PUR is traditionally used to enhance the thermal performances of cladding and insulation products.

By using the technology, Senior hopes its PURe aluminium window system will be able to achieve thermal efficiency.

The use of PUR also enables the window system to reach low U-values of 0.71w/m2k.

The PUR thermal barrier is completely recyclable.

It can be re-used as fillers for other products, reducing the amount of waste to landfill.

In addition to this, the aluminium in the system can also be recycled. This provides the system with the environmental credentials that are valued in today’s market.

The PURe range has a Green Guide rating of ’A’ for use in commercial products. It also meets the PassivHaus standard cycle.

Both double and triple glazing options are available whilst the range can be specified in different painted and anodised finishes to compliment the aesthetics of different buildings.
