Fire alarm panel from C-TEC installed in new hotel

  • 2 Feb 2015

A fire alarm panel from C-TEC has been fitted in 30 James Street to keep its guests safe from fire hazards

The hotel, which is a Grade II listed building, has been designed with cabin-style bedrooms and a Champagne Bar and Restaurant to make guests feel like they are staying on the Titanic itself.

C-TEC’s ZFP touchscreen controlled fire alarm panel was programmed and commissioned by SPL Fire Safety and installed to protect the building.

The panel’s touchscreen interface has been designed to display all system information.

It has the ability to indicate the exact location of a fire.

C-TEC’s SigTEL disabled refuge system has also been fitted in order to provide communication between rescue teams and those waiting in the hotel’s ‘refuge’ area in the event of an emergency.
