Eurocell products and support for Meddo UK on Lincoln projects

  • 5 Nov 2014

Regular on-time deliveries of soffits, fascia and external cladding from Eurocell’s Lincoln branch has helped Meddo UK complete extensive work for  City of Lincoln Council and its main contractor, Kier, replacing all timber soffits and fascia on its homes as part of a planned refurbishment programme on several hundred properties in the city.

Eurocell PVC-U cladding will be used in a second project to replace the facades on another large group of homes in Lincoln.

Why replace timber with  PVC-U?

Replacing timber with low maintenance PVC-U will

  • enable the council to reduce the costs of external repairs
  • ensure residents can heat their homes more efficiently

Scheduled deliveries are made directly to Meddo UK and frequent deliveries enables Meddo UK to hold less stock on site which reduces the risk of theft and means less working capital is tied up in materials.

Meddo UK’s fitters have tight schedules and they can work on up to 15 homes a day. An added consideration is that the occupants remain in their property whilst the work is being carried out. Therefore it is essential for products to be delivered on time in full and the Eurocell Lincoln branch consistently excels at this.

Meddo UK repairs and improves occupied properties across the UK for homeowners, landlords, tenants and businesses.
