Energy efficiency schemes discussed by the GGF and Parliament

  • 25 Feb 2015

The GGF’s concerns regarding the Government’s energy efficiency schemes were raised in the House of Commons by MP Chloe Smith

The company met with MPs to discuss the importance of glazing in domestic energy efficiency.

It suggested that incentivising the Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation (ECO) would help the schemes progress.

The Federation stressed that the Green Deal and ECO are failing to inspire homeowners and companies.

It called for a review of the supply chain.

MP Chloe Smith took its concerns into account and, following further complaints regarding Green Deal providers, she raised the issue in the House of Commons.

The policing of the Green Deal became the subject of debate in Parliament.

Passionate about the issue, the GGF has also issued a statement on Politics Home website.

The statement summaries its concerns over the policing of the Green Deal and ECO supply chain.
