Sikafloor 161 epoxy resin primer produces robust flooring solution

The Sikafloor 161 two-part low viscosity epoxy resin primer was used on the concrete substrates to offer an easy application and an integral Damp Proof Membrane which prevents moisture from passing into the warehouse.

Warrington based installers, Quest Industrial Flooring, contacted Sika in order to find an aesthetically pleasing flooring solution that could be ready for foot traffic within a short amount of time.

Also chosen was Sika Comfortfloor, commonly referred to as ‘liquid applied vinyl’ due to the seamless finish produced when the polyurethane resin flooring is used in application.

High level of acoustic resistance with Comfortfloor

Sika Comfortfloor was specified in pure white with a smooth finish to produce a hard wearing floor that is ideal for use in warehouses that have heavy products and people moving around.

Comfortfloor provides a softer resistance compared to traditional flooring and provides a high level of acoustic resistance.
