Woburn Forest has become the fifth Centre Parcs village in the UK, after construction started in 2012. The new village has received backing from Prime Minister David Cameron, and is expected to inject £20 million each year into the regional economy and has created a total of 1,500 new jobs.
It features a ‘Subtropical Swimming Paradise’, Aqua Sana Spa, 625 lodges, a 75 bedroom hotel, six spa suites and a extensive range of restaurants, shops and leisure activities.

Schlüter-Systems flooring products were specified throughout Woburn Forest and installed by subcontractor P.Plunkett Tiling Contractors Ltd.
The products were chosen to work beneath the tile and stone flooring to provide them with security and durability, whilst aiming to offer an aesthetically pleasing appearance on the surface.
Schlüter-DITRA matting was used in the Village’s Aqua Sana Spa, sports hall and hotel. The matting neutralises tensions between substrate and surface and has the added benefit of interconnected air channels which help moisture to evaporate.
The village’s floors were finished with the Schlüter-SCHIENE threshold strip. The profiles are designed to protect exposed edges of tiles from being cracked or chipped and prevent trip edges in addition to providing slip resistance.
