Greek swimmers benefit from Plastic Extruders’ barefoot matting

  • 15 Jan 2015

Heronrib barefoot matting was manufactured by Plastic Extruders’ matting division in the UK

Heronrib was supplied to keep the Athletic Nautical Club of Glyfada’s water polo and swimming teams safe from slipping accidents. It was recommended by Greek flooring distributors, Beredimas Safety Floors.

Under DIN 51097, Heronrib has a ‘C’ Classification for slip resistance surface. It is able to maintain a dry surface with its open grid, two layer construction with channelled under bars.

Anti-microbial and anti-fungal additives have been added to the product to improve barefoot hygiene. Its non-porous PVC sections also help to ensure an acceptable level of cleanliness is maintained.

Heronrib is supplied in 10m long rolls and widths of 50, 100 or 122cm widths and is available in a variety of standard colours.
