The Midlands Construction Summit is scheduled to return on October 6th at the NEC, Birmingham as part of the Build Environment Hub.
The event attracts over 300 industry professionals and specialists, operating across a number of key construction sectors – gathering to debate and deliberate on the content of the joint industry and Government 2025 Strategy.
The construction industry is one of Britain’s leading sectors – the Midlands in particular has found itself the home of world-class expertise in architecture, design and engineering – and is also a key driver in sustainable construction solutions.
The sector has considerable growth opportunities, with the global construction market forecast to grow by over 70% by 2025.
Midlands Construction Summit
This year’s Midlands Construction Summit aims to help the region’s built environment sector reflect on industry changes made since last year, as well as developing future plans to deliver the Construction 2025 Industrial Strategy.
Hosted by the Built Environment Hub, the Midlands Construction Summit will offer a platform to share opinions and learn from industry leaders, including a keynote presentation from Peter Hansford, UK Chief Construction Advisor.
Following the presentation, he will join the panel for an open Q & A session, providing an opportunity for delegates to pose questions directly to one of the leading contributors of the Strategy document.
Taking place from 8.45am – 2.30pm, the event will be co-located as part of UK Construction Week and will include talks from key industry leaders, who will each discuss how their organisation is aligning their strategies with Construction 2025.
