Fire safety work to be carried out to ensure quick escape in a blaze

The company will fit new smoke seals onto doors, install fire barriers in roof spaces, repair and plane doors and fire proof extractor fans as part of the work which is due for completion in early 2014.

Novus will ensure that the building can be evacuated quickly in the event of a blaze by fire-proofing all pipes and apertures leading into the roof space and replacing unsafe lighting.
