Construction industry is being targeted by tax authorities

HMRC has recruited an extra 100 staff to target construction firms, whilst companies are asking why the focus has shifted to a struggling industry when much larger global organisations, such as Amazon, Vodafone and Starbucks were recently accused of tax avoidance on a large scale.
