A mix of wood and stone effect vinyl flooring from Polyflor has been used in the creation of a new bar area at the home of Cardiff Blues rugby club, the Cardiff Arms Park.
Designs from the Forest fx PUR sheet vinyl flooring collection and the Expona Design PUR vinyl tile range were both used in the updated bar area, situated at the stadium in the centre of Cardiff.
Interior fit-out specialists Office Image designed, managed and carried out the bar refurbishment, with the flooring installed by Gareth Wood Contract Flooring Services.
Forest fx flooring in Rustic Oak and Expona Design tiles in Atlantic Slate were chosen to complement the traditional bar area and rugby union themed décor in the suite.
Atlantic Slate was used throughout the bar’s bathroom areas, whilst Expona Commercial vinyl flooring in Blue Recycled Wood were also fitted to hospitality boxes overlooking the pitch.
The Forest fx sheet vinyl flooring range is produced in 14 authentic wood effect designs, whilst the Expona Design LVT collection includes 28 options in wood, stone and abstract effects.
Suitable for heavy commercial environments, such as the Cardiff Arms Park, the vinyl floor coverings are enhanced with a polyurethane reinforcement, which is cross linked and UV cured to provide superior cleaning benefits.
All of Polyflor’s flooring contains recycled material and is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor scheme.
Neil Humphries, Managing Director at Office Image commented, “As dedicated Cardiff Rugby Football Club sponsors, we wanted to create the right atmosphere for the Cardiff Blues bar through the design concept. Polyflor’s collection of vinyl tiles has helped us achieve a great result which the club is delighted with.”
