SL 38 thermal aluminium window systems

Ultra-slim thermal aluminium window systems launched by Reynaers

  • 9 Nov 2015

Reynaers has launched its SlimLine 38 series of aluminium window and door systems, offering slender profiles and improved thermal efficiency.

Manufactured out of aluminium, the SL 38 and SL 38-HI systems have been developed to offer a combination of elegant design and product stability.

Suitable for new-build constructions and the replacement of steel-framed windows and doors, the systems respect Reynaers’ original CS 38 design, but offer an improvement on thermal insulation.

Improved thermal properties

Featuring an insulated three-chamber system, the SL 38 provides slim profiles for thermal characteristics. Available in turn, fixed and turn-tilt variations, the system can offer U-values of over 1.4 W/m²K, depending on its configuration.

The system is suitable for double and triple glazing with a glass thickness of up to 55mm.

The SL 38 product also offers an air tightness of Class 4 (600Pa) and water tightness Class 9A (600Pa), ensuring resistance to adverse weather conditions.

Slim line design

The system’s frame is reinforced by an invisible drainage system, eliminating the need for drainage caps on the exterior of windows and doors.

SL 38 is available in three design variants – Classic, Cubic and Ferro – and its slim lines allow for the introduction of light.

The system is available with hidden hinges.
