Miniaturised hand dryer provides ecological washroom solution

  • 25 Jan 2016

Airflow Developments has announced the launch of its ecoDry mini hand dryer, which has been designed for installation in commercial and industrial washrooms with limited space.

Designed to consume minimal energy, the ecoDRY mini allegedly boasts a smaller footprint than a standard sheet of A4 paper. As an unobtrusive solution for washrooms and bathrooms, the hand dryer encompasses the same visual features as Airflow’s existing ecoDry units – however, it is considerably smaller, protruding from the wall at less than 10cm.

Available in white and satin chrome finishes, the unit has also been fitted with a contemporary LED blue down lighter.

Eco-friendly miniaturised hand dyer

ecoDRY mini hand dryerecoDRY comprises a 500-watt heating element, which draws upon a 400-watt motor and makes use of a meagre 2.3 watts per drying cycle. This allows owners to save on running costs, providing them with an ecological solution, which expresses a noise level of 70dB(A).

The miniaturised unit boasts an air speed of 200 Km/h and an air flow rate of 110 m3/hr/ 31 l/min, which allows for a reduction of carbon emissions.

Replaceable HEPA filters and carbon brushes can also be specified to protect users from up to 99% of air bacteria.

The system has been designed with a blade edge air stream delivery system, which offers fast drying. In addition to providing hand protection, it is also automatic sensor operated, IP23 double insulated and CE Certified.
