Balconette’s new range of Frameless Glass Juliet balconies have been designed to provide a minimalist guarding solution for architects, developers and specifiers.
The Frameless Juliet systems form part of Balconette’s existing range of aluminium and straight and curved glass balustrades. The company also offers a number of different Juliet balconies, with a choice of handrail styles and finishes.
The company’s latest design utilises 21.5mm laminated and toughened glass panels, which allows for a Frameless Juliet of up to 3.15m in width using a single pane of glass.
Balconette also offers seven standard sizes, ranging from 1,280mm to 2,840mm; custom sizes are available on request.
By fitting support profiles to the walls either side of the aperture, the system can be easily installed. The profiles allow tolerances for installation; previously, accurate drilling was required for glass with pre-drilled holes.
Developers such as Rectory Homes have benefited from the new balconies. Rectory has specified the system for installation in two multi-million detached properties, based near Oxford city centre.
Supplied and installed by Balconette, the Frameless systems complement the aesthetics of the contemporary properties.
