IronmongeryDirect has added a new range of window cassette systems to its product portfolio. The company has also announced the launch of the Thingamegjig, its new scribing tool

Designed to replace the glass on timber, composite doors and uPVC, IronmongeryDirect’s Window Cassettes offer a cheaper alternative to complete door replacement.

The range comprises five products, which suit a variety of door designs.

IronmongeryDirect has extended its offering further: its new Thingamejig has been developed to simplify the process of trimming stone, soft metals, timber, laminate and other materials, including painted items.

It enables the user to score a line into the material that needs to be cut down.

The scribing tool can be used with one hand, allowing its user to steady the material. This ensures greater precision; the tool can also reduce the risk of chipping when trimming.
