Polyflor’s Forest fx PUR vinyl flooring has been installed by Tildan Construction at The Pavilion Park, a youth and community centre in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
The hardwearing floorcovering was specified by architects Michael Weakley Associates in a warm Rich Cherry shade throughout the centre’s Park View Café and Woodpecker Hall function room.
A further four Forest fx shades – Classic Oak, Smoked Oak, Warm Beech and Mahogany – were used to create the detailed compass designs which sit in the centre of the café and hall floors.
The bespoke designs were created by Polyflor’s in-house Design Service team using water jet cutting technology.
Daisy Robinson, Community Development Manager at The Pavilion on the Park commented: “We’re delighted with the finished look of the floors in our newly refurbished Park View Café and Woodpecker Hall. The compass designs which Polyflor created for us look really impressive and have received many positive comments from our visitors.”
Forest fx PUR vinyl flooring has been developed for high traffic environments and was therefore ideal for the community centre, which hosts 28 weekly activities including music, dance, drama and exercise clubs.
The range features 14 realistic wood effect designs with a cross-linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) for a low maintenance solution which lasts the lifetime of the flooring.
