Liquid applied waterproofing range extended with three new systems

Triton has expanded its range of liquid applied waterproofing products to include three new systems, which have been designed to protect roofs and podium decks against water ingress.

Unlike other waterproofing materials, liquid applied waterproofing systems can adhere to the exact shapes and contours of a building. Triton’s new systems have been developed to provide Type A barrier protection waterproofing, as stipulated in BS 8102 (2009).

Offering fast-curing, the systems are suitable for application in cooler temperatures.

Liquid applied waterproofing systems

TWS-Poly H has been developed to produce a waterproof surface on prepared concrete; it is suitable for application on pitched or flat roofs, balconies and decks, as well as internal and external walls. As it produces a trafficable cured surface, the system can be used to waterproof concrete floors in car parks.

Comprising two components, the polyurea formulation can be applied via brush, roller, trowel or squeegee.

TWS-Poly S boasts a similar composition. Designed for application by a heated spray unit with a twin nozzle, the system offers enhanced crack bridging capability and bonding strength. It can be combined with geotextiles to create waterproof linings for canals or tunnels.

Triton’s TWS Fastcoat is a single component system, which cures as an elastic layer suitable for balconies and low pitch or flat roofs. It has been developed to withstand constant water contact and protect against adverse weather conditions.

The system, which can be applied by brush or airless equipment, is able to deliver a combination of roof barrier and waterproofing layer, reducing the number of layers required in green roof construction.
