Kee Safety has added 12 new types of tubular fittings to its Kee Klamp range. The new slope fittings have been developed for installation on guardrails with steeper gradients.
The Kee Klamp range comprises a variety of tubular fittings, manufactured from cast iron. The products can be installed using a standard hex key: each features an internal set screw, which ensures it can be secured the tube without the need for welding or specialist skills.
As no tools are required, builders and specifiers can change and reconfigure Kee Klamp structures whenever necessary. The products have been designed to join structural steel tube into any configuration.
The fittings are suitable for use in a range of applications with the retail, education, railway and highway sectors.
Kee Safety has enhanced the Kee Klamp collection with several new components, which have been designed to enhance the construction of guardrail along staircases and ramps.
The new collection introduces single fittings, which are able to cope with situations where a combination of fixtures is usually required. The products are available in size 7 (outside diameter 42.4mm) and size 8 (outside diameter 48.3mm), which are the most common sizes for handrails.
The new tubular fittings aim to simplify installation, whilst serving guardrails with a slope of more than 30 degrees.
Britain’s leading garage door manufacturer, Garador, has introduced a new robust hand transmitter designed specifically for use with its popular GaraMatic operators.
