ASSA ABLOY Access Control has appointed David Smyth to a technical support role, where he will be tasked with leading the division’s training courses for its extensive customer base of OEMs and system integrators.

Having graduated from the University of West Scotland in 2015, David has since worked for eXPD8, installing and monitoring security solutions for retailers based in London and the South East, before securing a role with ASSA ABLOY Access Control.

He commented: “ASSA ABLOY Access Control has established itself as a global leader in supplying wireless locking technology for commercial building projects across the UK, and I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with the company, helping to oversee any engineering queries or challenges that customers might be facing.”
