Schlüter-Systems has supplied a number of its wetroom and drainage products to a Grade II listed former grammar school in Bankside, London which is currently undergoing a conversion into a 70-room boutique hotel.

Situated near the iconic Tower Bridge in London, the contemporary Lalit London hotel will feature Schlüter-Systems’ integrated CE marked wetroom solution including the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE drainage system and Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E underfloor heating.

To achieve the appropriate sloping that would allow for proper drainage in the CE marked, waterproof floor-level shower area, Schlüter supplied a system comprising the prefabricated levelling and shower tray components of Schlüter-KERDI-SHOWER.

Schlüter-KERDI-SHOWER is available with the point drainage system, Schlüter-KERDI-DRAIN, in addition to the Schlüter-KERDI-LINE linear drainage system, a component linear drainage system for the construction of floor-level showers with ceramic tiles and natural stone.

Schlüter-KERDI-LINE is manufactured with a stainless steel body with a grate and frame structure, which the can be seamlessly adjusted to the thickness of the covering from 3 to 25mm.

The contemporary wetrooms were complimented with Schlüter-DITRA-HEAT-E electric underfloor heating system, which has uncoupling, crack-bridging and waterproofing properties.
