Twelve reasons to specify REHAU district heating pipework

  • 16 Nov 2016

REHAU has published a new guidance document which offers twelve reasons why REHAU’s range of district heating pipework is a market leading choice for specifiers.

REHAU’s RAUVITHERM and RAUTHERMEX brands use 10 percent less material than steel and are up to 50 percent quicker to fit, requiring no hot works.

The DUO form of the district heating pipework is available in 400mm lengths, therefore requiring fewer joints, and the RAUTHERMEX range has the best lambda value (0.0216 W/mk lambda) of any pre-insulated pipe available in the UK, according to REHAU.

The pipework has recently been installed at the award-winning Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire and Portmeirion village, the setting of the iconic 1960s TV series, The Prisoner

Available via the REHAU website or REHAU Docs app for mobile and tablet, the brochure also highlights specific benefits to professionals working with REHAU including its UK-based sales and technical support team, BIM modelling capability and UK manufacturing.

The document also differentiates the RAUVITHERM and RAUTHERMEX systems depending on thermal performance and flexibility requirements of the project.
