Armourcoat creates calming 3D sculptural wall for One Stop Doctors

One Stop Doctors has set up a new £15 million clinic in Hemel Hempstead that utilises Armourcoat’s 3D Sculptural walling, as specified by luxury interior specialist Goddard Littlefair.

The clinic features a high-end service environment that communicates a calm and welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Bespoke furniture specified by Goddard Littlefair is used throughout in a range of high-end materials, including velvet, leather and suede in a colour palette of browns, slates, taupes, blues, purples and greys.

Lighting was an important part of the mix, creating features with natural and artificial light.

The designers specified an Armourcoat Sculptural ‘Flow Wave’ feature wall within the clinic’s reception space, which featured impactful designs created from cast GRG (Glass-fibre Reinforced Gypsum) panels, CAD generated to enable a continuous pattern or unique decorative effect.

One Stop Doctors CEO Ella Tracey commented: “We were not looking for the usual clinical healthcare design, but wanted a designer who could share our vision for creating an ambience that was relaxed, reassuring and tranquil, very comfortable and also aesthetically beautiful. Staff, visitors and patients alike are so impressed with the elegance of the design and the attention to detail, but also appreciate the feeling of warmth and comfort that it creates. “
