Sustainability whitepaper launched for steel door manufacturers

  • 27 Feb 2017

ASSA ABLOY has launched a sustainability whitepaper looking at how steel door manufacturers can begin to mitigate and quantify their environmental impact.

The Government Construction Strategy (GCS) 2016-20, introduced in March 2016, and the Construction 2025 initiative, have together established long term goals to reduce environmental impact and set a guideline for construction clients to adopt a whole-life approach to cost and carbon reduction across the industry.

The sustainability whitepaper published by ASSA ABLOY provides information and guidance on these environmental strategies. It also considers manufacturers’ use of materials, energy sources and manufacturing methods, and examines the whole-life cost of products.
