Polyflor used at Drayton Manor’s Thomas Land

  • 22 Mar 2017

Polyflor Ltd was chosen to create a fun train track floor design at Drayton Manor Park’s Thomas Land in Staffordshire UK.

Inspired by the children’s TV series Thomas and Friends, several designs were used from Polyflor’s Expona Flow Commercial sheet vinyl collection for the Thomas Land gift shop and Engine Shed photo area.

The Woodland, Taupe and Luna shades were chosen from the Expona Flow Cosmos range, providing a bold and eye catching backdrop, with the Bronzed Pine design from the Expona Flow Wood collection used to replicate the look of railways sleepers.

Tamworth based flooring contractors, Floortec, installed approximately 700m2 of Expona Flow.

The Expona Flow PUR collection of heavy commercial sheet vinyl floor coverings includes 50 wood, stone and abstract designs in a 2m wide sheet format with a 2mm gauge and a 0.7mm wear layer. In addition, the flooring has a simple polish-free maintenance regime, cross linked and cured with Polyflor PUR polyurethane reinforcement.

Polyflor’s Expona Flow range is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme, and contains recycled material itself. Visit the Polyflor website to order free samples.
