Kingspan Insulation has added two new products to its Kooltherm K100 range: the K112 Framing Board and K107 Pitched Roof Board.
Developed with fibre-free insulation cores, the new rigid phenolic insulation boards boast a thermal conductivity of 0.018 W/m.K, which can be achieved by all board sizes and thicknesses.
The K112 and K107 boards have been designed to deliver low U-values with a minimal thickness; by using them, architects, builders and specifiers can create buildings with impressive fabric performance, without compromising on internal space.
All of the insulation boards within the Kooltherm K100 range are non-deleterious and unaffected by air infiltration. They are produced at Kingspan Insulation’s Pembridge and Selby facilities, alongside its Therma and KoolDuct products: both factories are certified to BES 6001.
The boards are manufactured with a blowing agent, which has very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and no Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
The complete range is available on the Kingspan Insulation U-value Calculator. Detailed product brochures can be downloaded via the company’s website.
A package of products from Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS) has been used for the external refurbishment of the roofline at Weston General Hospital in Weston-Super-Mare.
