AWMS raises money for charities in Pavestone Rally

  • 21 Jun 2017

Alumasc Water Management Solutions is taking part in the Pavestone Rally to raise money for The Rainy Day Trust and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

More than 30 cars are set to cross through ten countries between 7th and 10th of September. AWMS’ team of four was tasked to ‘buy a banger’ costing less than £500 and create something that will grab people’s attention.

The team will drive from Dover to Monte Carlo and complete various challenges to compete for points based on the quality of fancy dress along with the age, engine size and condition of the car.

Each team is asked to raise as much money as possible on their journey, and create laughter and joy along the way. Bryan Clover, CEO of The Rainy Day Trust will present the award for the team that raises the most money in Nice.

The Rainy Day Trust is the only charity to support the home improvement workforce and their families in times of need. The Teenage Cancer Trust supports 13-24 year olds with cancer, providing life-changing care and support.

Awms Marketing Manager Ben Green comments: “Our team is very much looking forward to the rally and raising money for such worthwhile causes.”
