BBS sees the potential of Fibo wall panels

  • 30 Jun 2017

Builders’ Merchant BBS Plumbing & Heating Supplies in Bristol has become a Fibo wall panel stockist.

Ian Shields, BBS Showroom Manager explains that he recognised the potential of the panels instantly and it was exactly the kind of product that would create an immediate and dramatic impact for the BBS in-branch bathroom showroom.

The wall panels cover over 150m2 of wall space – making it the largest Fibo wall panel display area in Europe. This, in addition to the new POS and swatches enables a whole new experience for BBS’ builder and contractor customers.

“A large display shows customers that we have confidence in the product,” says Ian. “There is something for everyone, including feature wall panels. I’ve never been a great fan of the old-style panelling but Fibo is different – it’s given me an appetite for selling.”

Fibo’s wall panels are quick and easy to install, with its patented Aqualock system allowing them to be fitted up to five times faster than tiles. The tongue-and-groove fixing system allows contractors to sub-contract the job to tillers, saving further time and money.

Ian comments: “One lady was so convinced that Fibo panels were in fact tiles that I had to show her the original packaging before she believed it.”
