REHAU ticks all the boxes with AGILA Fire Door

  • 14 Aug 2017

REHAU provides value, security, thermal efficiency and style with its AGILA Fire Door range.

Previously named the REHAU RAFERNO, the AGILA Fire Door is a PVC-U fire door that complies with the latest fire regulations. It is based on the design of the REHAU TOTAL70 system and is suitable for fire escape routes, entrance halls and deck access flats.

The Fire Door utilises fire retardant glass and door panels and features a graphite intumescent strip which expands with heat within the specifically reinforced frame to create a 30-minute fire rating – providing 30 minutes of fire protection.

REHAU fire doors feature excellent thermal insulation properties, sound proofing, security options and they are low maintenance.

In addition, fully compliant toplight and sidelight configurations are now available for fire doors with REHAU’s push on expansion coupler technology, which is easy to install and assemble.

The doors are also aesthetically pleasing, with a wide range of panel styles and colours to choose from.

Neil Baker, Senior Engineer from REHAU said: “This year’s Fire Door Safety Week is a timely and suitable reminder to the glazing industry about the importance of choosing the right doors to protect life and property.”

REHAU has taken every step possible to ensure the highest standards of manufacture through approved fabricators. To receive REHAU accreditation, all fabricators, must undergo certified REHAU training and provide proof of a top level QC system. To ensure correct installation, installers must be trained by a recognised scheme for fire products.
