Steel guttering and downpipes from Alumasc Rainwater

Alumasc steel rainwater solution installed at award-winning nurseries

  • 21 Aug 2017

Steel gutters and downpipes from Alumasc Rainwater have been installed at David Austin Roses’ nursery tea rooms.

The Shrewsbury-based plant centre, which is home to the National Rose Collection, recently carried out extension works. As part of the refurbishment, the plastic rainwater at the nursery tea rooms was targeted for replacement.

Alumasc Rainwater steel gutters and downpipes were specified to replace the old, unsightly system by Roweaver Developments.

The replacement guttering was carefully selected from Alumasc’s contemporary steel range to complement the surrounding gardens, and timber cladding of the building.

Within three days, the chosen rainwater system was fitted and functional. The client was pleased with the results, and may consider fitting the steel system around the rest of the building.

Alumasc’s steel systems have been designed to be eco-friendly and durable. Unlike plastic, they will not discolour or warp as time passes. A 15 year warranty guarantees long-term performance.
