A commitment to customer focus has reaped dividends for Aggregate Industries’ Express Asphalt plant in Salford, with the plant delivering record sales in June.
Last month saw the plant go beyond its monthly asphalt target by well over two thirds (39 per cent), continuing the success it has seen all year long with the team continuing to far exceed all monthly targets.
A key element of this recent accomplishment for Salford is the reputation the team has built up in the local area. Located in a competitive marketplace, the Salford team has become famous as the ‘go-to’ plant for quick, reliable and high-quality asphalt supply, backed with solid customer service.
Another key factor is the plant’s ability to be able to produce multiple, often complex specifications at the same time, on account of its state-of-the-art machinery.
Duncan Reaney, general manager of Express Asphalt, said: “The sales figures for June, and the whole of 2017, are testament to the hard work and excellent service delivered by the Salford plant.
“In recent years the team has become incredibly close-knit, focused on going above and beyond for customers, and we are seeing the results of their actions in these amazing sales figures.”
Express Asphalt customers visiting Salford are treated to a hot drink, breakfast and paper on arrival. Understanding that time is money for clients, the team is committed to delivering the Express Asphalt promise, an incredibly quick turnaround of just under 30 minutes, each and every time, regardless of the asphalt specification required.
