Omron to showcase sensors for smart buildings at UK Construction Week

  • 13 Sep 2017

Omron Electronic Components Europe is to demonstrate a new range of sensors for smart buildings at next month’s Construction Week conference at NEC Birmingham.

The Omron team will be on hand at Stand: S30 in the Smart Buildings section showing how their latest IoT ready sensors are creating opportunities for both manned and unmanned buildings to become automated.

Such sensors are making it increasingly easy for both the direct and indirect environmental factors affecting a facility, to be monitored over the IoT.  Sensors paired with cloud based solutions allow automated response procedures to be put in place based on set thresholds.

UK Construction Week is the UK’s largest gathering of construction professionals coming together at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham between 10 – 12 October.
